Air Filter Mount Hole MachiningWe can drill your mounting holes precisely in the location shown on your drawing. A one-time (NRE) tooling charge is applicable when size, location or large volume requires customer owned fixture. For quality cost, and most importantly safety reasons, please let Permatron perform this operation.

Air Filter Pull Tabs & Handles3/8″ wide by 1-1/2″ long vinyl strip or 1″ wide by 1-1/2″ cloth strip pull tabs can be easily added to either steel framed or vinyl edged filters for easy filter access. A zinc plated metal ring hanger pull tab riveted into frame is available in two sizes for installation on 1/4″ or 1/2″ and 1″ thick steel frame filters.

Air Filter Z Bracket MountWhen using two filters, installed side by side, we recommend using our Z bracket, applied to the shortest dimension, unless otherwise specified. This allows the second filter to butt up closely next to the first one for complete air intake coverage.

Center Rod Air Filter SupportWe can install aluminum or stainless steel rods weaved within, or between layers of, the media on all framed filters. These may be necessary in large surface area applications with higher CFM, or high aspect (narrow width and long length) applications. Material matches the frame and is usually 1/8″ diameter. Fabricate with rods defined in your specifications also available.

Corrugated Expanded Metal Air Filter SupportCorrugated expanded metal, used in mist eliminators, can also be used for structural support between multiple layers of filtration media. This type of support can create an internal particle accumulation chamber. The material matches your frame with LWD openings as determined by your required flow volume.

Expanded Metal SupportAir filters requiring extra support can include expanded wire. Air filters greater than 650 square inches will always include expanded support. Air filters greater than 1,000 square inches are not recommended and are not warrantied.

Jack Nut Air Filter Mount KitKits are available for use to install PreVent filters with grommet attachment.

MagnaMount® Magnetic Plastic Mount ClipsDurable black plastic mount clips easily attach filter (3/8″ grommet) to equipment. These quick mounts reduce installation time to minutes and require no tools. Contains a powerfully strong neodymium “earth” magnet that sticks to metal surfaces, allowing them to be repositioned as needed.

MagnaMount® Plastic Clip Mount PlateUsing MagnaMount on any non-metal surface installations is easy with the addition of our press on steel plate adapter. Mount plates contain high bond, high tensile strength tape adhesive that can be permanently affixed to the non-metal surface.

Magnetic Air Filter MountingWe offer a unique and patented magnetic frame design that allows a prefilter to stick to the outside of steel air intake louvers, meaning that they are accessible from the outside with no need to dismantle the case to retrieve filters for cleaning. Magnetic stripping can be attached to the steel filter frame with adhesive.

PreVent® Mounting GrommetsThe vinyl is folded over the edge of the media and sewn into place to create a finished 1.25″ filter frame. We install 3/8″ ID, 13/16″ OD stainless steel grommets for an easy mounting option. Unless you specify differently, the grommets will be spaced evenly in the range of every 10 to 12 inches. Custom grommet placement requires a drawing.

PreVent® Snap ConnectionExtra large air intake applications utilize two or more PreVent screens for full intake coverage. Black plastic snaps (fits standard 3/8″ grommet) are available to combine or overlap the inside vinyl edge of our Model U or Model BHA filters for a smooth and secure installation.

Screw-In Plastic Mount ClipsDurable black plastic mount clips are available to easily attach filter (3/8″ grommet) or netting to equipment. Clip (with (2) #6-3/4″ hardened steel self tapping screws) has a moveable tab that opens and closes for secure installation and easy removal to clean.

Vinyl Hook Loop Air Filter FrameVinyl framed filters can include hook/loop installation components for sealing or retention purposes. Mating, adhesive backed hook of equal perimeter length in rolls, is included in each order.
